Amendments and Liability:

Changes to the content or assessments found in the appraisal report, or any duplicates thereof, may only be carried out by the qualified appraiser. The appraiser is not liable for any modifications made without the appropriate approval.

Extent of Obligation:

The provision of an appraisal report does not obligate the appraiser to additional duties, such as involvement in legal proceedings. Further responsibilities will require prior agreement and will be charged at the current UK hourly rate.

Liability Limitations:

The appraiser's liability is explicitly confined to the cost incurred for the appraisal service provided.

Basis of Valuation Estimates:

All assessments are predicated on the client's complete, unrestricted ownership interest. The appraisal report is not to be construed as a confirmation of ownership or a title certificate. The appraiser depends on the client's declarations without undertaking independent validation.

Value Determination: 

Values are determined by the appraiser's expertise as of the assessment date and do not guarantee potential sale returns. The appraisal does not consider historical or future values unless specifically stated.

Report Usage & Reproduction: 

Apart from the client, possession or reproduction of the appraisal report does not grant any rights for publication or alternative use. Any reproduction must include the entire report. Only the appraiser has the authority to modify the content. Additional services requested will be invoiced at the prevailing rate and must be paid promptly upon invoicing.

Confidentiality Protocols: 

All data associated with the appraisal report will be treated as confidential. A copy of the report and primary notes will be retained, but access to others is prohibited without the client's express consent, except where mandated by UK law.

Professional Standards: 

This appraisal complies with the guidelines established by the National Association of Jewellers’ Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV).

Gem Authentication: 

Unless otherwise indicated, gemstones are identified by species and type, and their origin (natural or laboratory grown). Routine practices don't always specify the country of origin; if significant for valuation, additional services and charges may apply.

Gem Assessment: 

Gems were graded in their settings, which could affect the accuracy of grading and measurements. The terminology used aligns with Gemological Institute of America (GIA) standards. Enhancements to coloured gemstones, in line with industry standards, may influence their appraised values.

Consumer Rights: 

None of the terms, conditions, or notes within this report diminish or supersede UK Consumers’ Statutory Rights.
